Our Mission
Emerald Coast Classical Academy's mission is to educate students in the classical method rooted in a Christian worldview. ECCA operates as an extension of the family, working alongside parents to provide an academically excellent environment designed to allow students to engage the world with a Biblical worldview, as further defined in our Statement of Faith.
Classical Christian education at Emerald Coast Classical Academy is defined as:
Classical Christian education is the cultivation of wisdom, virtue, and wonder in students through the time-tested practices and content of the liberal arts, with a goal of developing lifelong learners who love the true, the good, and the beautiful, as defined by Scripture, and thereby becoming conformed to the image and likeness of Christ.
Our Statement of Faith
Emerald Coast Classical Academy holds the following Statement of Faith, which will permeate all courses and levels of the Academy:
1. We believe the Bible to be the only inerrant, authoritative Word of God (II Timothy 3:16);
2. We believe there is one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:26, Acts 7:54-60, John 1:1);
3. We believe God created the heavens, the earth, and man, as described in the account of creation in the first two chapters of Genesis.
4. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
5. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential (Titus 3:5);
6. We believe salvation is by grace alone through faith alone (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 11:5-6);
7. We believe faith without works is dead (Philippians 2:12; Ephesians 2:10, James 2:14-26);
8. We believe the indwelling Holy Spirit enables the Christian to live a godly life (Romans 8:9; Galatians 5:22-25);
9. We believe in the resurrection of the saved to eternal life and the lost to everlasting damnation (Matthew 25:31-46);
10. We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (John 17, I Corinthians 12 and 14).
We adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, the Cambridge Declaration of 1996, and the New Hampshire Confession of Faith 1853

Other Statements: We Affirm
Historically due to the increasing amount of equivocation of terms in the current cultural climate, the church must make distinctions and develop positions to add clarity on where the church stands on such issues and what the Bible says concerning them. These are statements that Emerald Coast Classical Academy affirms.

The following is the School’s Statement on the Sanctity of Human Life, which forms a part of the Academy’s Statement of Faith.
11. We believe all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life.
The following is the School’s Statement on Marriage, Gender and Sexuality, which forms a part of the Academy’s Statement of Faith.
12. We believe God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect God's image and nature (Genesis 1:26- 27).
13. We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning: uniting one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. (Genesis 2:18-25.) We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. (1 Corinthian 6:18; 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4.) We believe that God has commanded that no sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman.
14. We believe that any form of sexual immorality (including, without limitation, adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, and use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God. (Matthew 15:18-20.)
15. We believe that in order to preserve the function and integrity of the School and to provide a biblical role model to the school's families and the community, all persons employed by the School in any capacity orlunteers must agree to and abide by this Statement of Faith, including this Statement on Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality (Matthew 5:26; Philippians 2:14-16; 1 Thessalonians 5:22). who serve as vo
16. We believe God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. (Acts 3:19-21; Romans 10:9-10; I Corinthians 6:9-11.)
17. We believe everyone must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31.) Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual or group are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines of the School.
18. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals, regardless of race or ethnicity. Discrimination based on racial or ethnic background has no place in our community.
